Financial Wellness Series

A to Z on the road to homeownership.

RestoreLA has already helped over 60 families in Los Angeles become homeowners, and now they're expanding that same journey into Orange County. ALPFA OC is partnering with them to bring this opportunity to our community — raising awareness, connecting members to the program, and supporting them every step of the way. Think of your parents, your cousins, your aunts and uncles, your friends — everyone who's ever wondered where to start.

01 — Get Educated

Learn What It Takes

Understand what homeownership really requires and set realistic expectations from day one.

02 — Get Ready

Credit & Cash Flow Ready

Work with RestoreLA to build the credit and cash flow foundation you'll need to qualify.

03 — Get Certified

HUD-Certified Workshop

Complete a HUD-certified workshop that opens the door to first-time homebuyer grants and assistance programs.

This is RestoreLA's program — they lead workshops throughout the year, including a HUD-certified homeownership workshop each quarter. It's full support, start to finish: education on what homeownership really takes, accountability to keep you on track, hands-on help getting financially ready, and a direct connection to grant and assistance programs that make it possible. Through our partnership, ALPFA OC co-hosts 2–3 of those wellness workshops plus one HUD-certified session, bringing this opportunity directly to our community. Our role is to raise awareness, connect our members and community to these resources, and support them every step of the way.

Career Day Series

Career Day with top employers in Orange County.

Career Day brings ALPFA student chapters from across Southern California together to connect with top employers, get exposed to different lines of business, and practice the networking that builds real relationships — early, and on purpose. This fall, KPMG, JPMorgan Chase, and CIBC Private Wealth opened their doors to our students. Thank you.
